It's Wednesday night, and you know what that means ...

All Elite Wrestling returns with the latest edition of their weekly two-hour AEW on TBS program, which emanates this week from Hertz Arena in Estero, FL.

On tap for tonight's show is Chris Jericho calling out Eddie Kingston following their match at AEW Revolution. Also scheduled is Leyla Hirsch vs. Thunder Rosa in a title eliminator for the AEW Women's Championship, as well as Sammy Guevara vs. Scorpio Sky for the TNT Championship, and a tag-team match pitting Daniel Bryan & Jon Moxley against The Workhorsemen.

Featured below are complete AEW Dynamite results from March 9, 2022.

AEW DYNAMITE RESULTS (3/9/2022)

The regular AEW Dynamite cold open video package and theme plays and then we shoot inside the arena for tonight's post-Revolution edition of the weekly AEW on TBS program.

Chris Jericho, Jake Hager & Team 2point0 Beat Down Eddie Kingston, Santana & Ortiz

From there, the familiar sounds of Chris Jericho's "Judas in my Mind" plays and the crowd begins singing along with it as he makes his way down to the ring for tonight's opening segment.

He begins by talking about his match against Eddie Kingston at the PPV this past weekend. He says even though he lost he still considers it one of the best matches of his career.

Jericho goes on to mention how he didn't keep his word and shake Kingston's hand after the loss. He says it's a rare example of him not being a man of his word. With that in mind, he asks Kingston to come out so he can make things right and shake his hand now per their agreement.

The theme song for "The Mad King" hits and out he comes to join Jericho in the ring. He enters the ring and tells the production people in the back to cut his music off.

He talks about how he needed to win the match, and that the handshake was for Jericho. He says something is missing inside Jericho. He talks about respecting and looking up to the old Jericho.

Jericho responds by saying thank you to him as well. He says he'd be honored if he shook his hand per their pre-match agreement now. Jericho then extends his hand and the two shake hands.

Before anything else can happen, the theme for 2point0 and Daniel Garcia hits and the trio make their way down to the ring and immediately starting attacking Jericho and Kingston. Garcia goes right after Kingston while Team 2point0 beats Jericho down. They join up on Kingston and then Santana & Ortiz run down and help clear the ring of them.

They hold Garcia and hand Jericho the bat. Jericho pauses and then blasts Santana with the bat. He does the same to Ortiz and then Team 2point0 and Garcia and Jericho all group up together and beat them down.

Jake Hager runs down and looks upset at what he's seeing. He seems to not want to do so, but begrudgingly decides to join in on the beat down.

Now we've got Jericho, Hager, Team 2point0 and Garcia all working together and beating down Kingston, Santana & Ortiz with the bat.

The guys help Hager hoist Kingston up and they hit a huge power bomb that sends "The Mad King" through a table set up on the floor at ringside. Jericho gets back on the mic for one final message about that being entertainment and calling the new group the Jericho Appreciation Society.

AEW World Championship
"Hangman" Adam Page (C) vs. Dante Martin

We shoot to a vignette recapping the Dog Collar match between CM Punk and MJF from the Revolution pay-per-view. Then we shoot back inside the arena for our first match of the evening.

Dante Martin's theme hits and out comes the Top Flight member for a big title match that kicks off the action inside the ring on this week's show.

He settles into the ring and his music fades down. Now the theme for the AEW World Champion "Hangman" Adam Page plays and he makes his way out and settles in the ring.

The two shake hands and then the bell sounds to get this one off-and-running. We see some back-and-forth action and then Page starts to take over control of things a bit.

Martin ends up hitting a dropkick that slows him down and then blasts him with repeated chops, with "Hangman" starts to no-sell. Martin springboards off the ropes and splashes onto Page.

The momentum from the splash takes him down, however Page rolls through and brings Martin up in the air. He slams him down and then clotheslines him out to the floor as we head to a mid-match commercial break.

We return from the break and see the action still in progress. Martin is dominating things when we return, and things stay this way for a couple minutes.

Finally, Page shifts the momentum in his favor and quickly hits his Buckshot Lariat. The champ's finisher turns Martin inside-out and he scores the pin to retain his title.

Winner and STILL AEW World Champion: "Hangman" Adam Page

After The Match: Adam Cole Confronts "Hangman" Adam Page

Once the match wraps up, Schiavone enters the ring for a post-match interview. He congratulates Page on the victory.

Then he brings up his title defense over Adam Cole at the AEW Revolution PPV from this past weekend.

Page stops Martin and tells him to get his ass back in the ring. He proceeds to give him props for giving him a tough fight and then says if he ever works his way back to the number one contender spot, he would be honored to share the ring with him again.

From there, we hear someone off-camera saying please shut up. Out walks Adam Cole. He talks about giving Page all he can handle at Revolution and says he got a fluke win over Adam Cole.

Now he goes on to challenge Page to a rematch and tells him he wants him next week but this time with his people by his side. He says he will not stop until he gets what he wants -- which is to hear the words, "And NEW AEW World Champion." We then head to another commercial break.

Bryan Danielson & Jon Moxley (w/ William Regal) vs. The Workhorsemen

We return from the break to hear the theme song for Bryan Danielson. He makes his way out accompanied by William Regal. The two head to the ring together and then the music fades down.

From there, Jon Moxley's theme hits and out comes "The Purveyor of Violence." He settles in the ring beside Danielson.

The Workhorsemen, already in the ring, are introduced by the ring announcer and then the bell sounds to get this one off-and-running.

Mox kicks things off for his team and Drake kicks things off for his. Moxley begins beating down Drake with ease early on and then he gets him in his team's corner and stomps away at him.

Mox then tags in Danielson, who picks up where he left off, blasting Drake with kicks. Drake tags in Henry. Henry immediately finds himself on the defensive with Danielson, who repeatedly kicks away at him as well.

Danielson then gets Henry up in the surfboard submission. He cranks away at it and then tags Mox back in. Mox ends up getting caught off guard by Henry, who follows up with a drop kick off the top-rope. He then tags Drake back in.

Drake and Mox go nose-to-nose and trade shots. Mox blasts him with an open-handed slap. He beats him down and then tags in Danielson who gets him in his submission finisher.

Winners: Jon Moxley & Bryan Danielson

Tony Schiavone Interviews William Regal

Once the match wraps up, Schiavone enters the ring for another post-match interview. He starts talking to William Regal about how it's been years since he's seen him.

Regal tells Schiavone that he never thought he'd get to do this again. He says it's been 29 years since he's been on TBS with him doing an interview.

He goes on to talk about fighting against demons within himself and outside forces throughout the years and then cracks a joke about Schiavone's suit being crumby looking.

Now he mentions Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson being two of his pupils. He gets emotional when bringing up Schiavone helping him early in his career.

He says that's enough of being nice and brings up time being a factor. He says someone told him about Bryan Danielson mentioning him on TV recently. He then heard about Danielson fighting Jon Moxley.

Regal brings up it being so long since he came to the U.S. and notes that anyone from today's fan base that is familiar with him probably heard about him because of Danielson constantly giving him credit for helping him.

He says his main goal is to help people become better in the sport of pro wrestling. He says Danielson is the wrestler he should have been. He calls Danielson the perfect wrestler.

He brings up how they would train together with a group of aspiring talents and then when they left, they would stay together all hours of the night learning and getting better at their craft.

From there, he briefly mentions his past with Mox and then vows that the two will be stepping on anyone who gets in their way.

"Hangman" Adam Page & The Dark Order Talk Backstage

We shoot backstage where Alex Marvez is standing by with The Dark Order when "Hangman" Adam Page walks up and greets them. John Silver asks which ones from the group Page is going to team with next week. Page mentions how he just bumped into Jurassic Express backstage.

Wheeler Yuta vs. PAC

We head back inside the arena and hear the theme for The Best Friends. Wheeler Yuta makes his way to the ring accompanied by other members of the group.

He settles into the ring and then his music fades down. The theme for PAC hits and out comes "The Bastard" for the next match of the evening.

The bell sounds and we're off-and-running with this one. PAC jumps off to an early offensive lead as we head to a mid-match commercial break.

We return from the break to see PAC fighting his way back into the match. He ends up getting his brutalizer submission on him and gets the tap out win in a quick match.

Winner: PAC

Cutler Cam: Adam Cole, reDRagon & The Young Bucks

We shoot backstage where Adam Cole, reDRagon and The Young Bucks are standing by. The Cutler Cam segment gets started with Cole talks about the match set up earlier tonight for next week.

The Young Bucks end up cutting him off and says with Orange Cassidy and Hangman Page -- they can count them out. Cole says he wasn't going to pick them anyways and says he'll have reDRagon with them.

The trio walks off while The Young Bucks stay put. We head to another commercial break after this.

FTR Fires Tully Blanchard

We return from the break to Alex Marvez standing by backstage with FTR and Tully Blanchard. They talk about being the same team as always and then Tully cuts him off.

Tully then talks about how they used to be all about winning the tag-team titles again, not their families. They end up getting annoyed with Tully and say this is about family. They then tell Tully that he's fired.

A.H.F.O. Board Meeting -- Jeff Hardy Makes AEW Debut

We head to the ring where the A.H.F.O. is all standing around. Matt Hardy talks first about how Andrade El Idolo wants to fire him. He says every time he wears a suit he turns to an assh*le. He says Andrade should know what that's about.

Andrade then responds and talks about how it's time to handle their business. Hardy says let's get this over with and get a vote. He says he knows that his boys Private Party aren't going to vote him out.

They do the vote and initially Private Party votes for Hardy, but when he turns around they put their thumbs down. Andrade tells him in this business you always have to have someone watching your back.

This leads to Private Party, The Butcher, The Blade & Andrade El Idolo all beating down Hardy together.

As the beatdown continues, we hear some music and finally out comes Darby Allin and Sting. The numbers game ends up being too much for them as well and as all three are being beat down, we hear the familiar sounds of Jeff Hardy's theme.

The crowd ERUPTS as Jeff Hardy emerges from the back and heads to the ring. "The Charismatic Enigma" ends up taking them all out by himself. The fans go nuts with "Hardy! Hardy!" chants.

Hardy heads to the top and "The Strange Enigma," as J.R. refers to him on commentary, comes flying off with his trademark swanton bomb. He hugs Matt and the duo stand across from Darby Allin and Sting and look at each other as Jeff's music plays again.

Tony Nese Confronts Shane "Sw3rve" Strickland

We shoot backstage where Tony Schiavone is standing by with another newcomer to AEW -- Shane "Sw3rve" Strickland.

He talks about making his debut in AEW at Revolution. Before he can say much of anything else, up walks Tony Nese to interrupt him. Nese challenges him to a match at Rampage later this week.

Strickland says he was wondering who was going to be the first person to interrupt his promo in AEW. He then agrees to the match against Nese at Rampage this coming Friday night. He does his "Sw3rve's House" routine and we head to another commercial break.

Wardlow Says He's Done With MJF & The Pinnacle, Wants Out Of His Contract

When we return from the break, Tony Schiavone is standing in the ring and he says it's time to welcome "The Face of the Revolution."

On that note, the winner of the Face of the Revolution ladder match at AEW Revolution this past Sunday night -- Wardlow -- makes his way out.

Wardlow heads to the ring as Excalibur talks about his impressive and impactful showing at the PPV over the weekend, noting he won the aforementioned ladder match and also played a big factor in the Dog Collar match by "misplacing" the Dynamite Diamond Ring, which is what led to CM Punk beating MJF.

Schiavone brings up the finish of the Dog Collar match and then mentions how he is still signed to a contract with MJF.

Wardlow talks about how he spent the first years of his career in AEW helping someone else achieve his dreams -- referring to MJF. He then says it's time to achieve his own. He says he grew up poor and watched his mother, who has a heart of gold, struggle to help raise himself and his sisters.

He goes on to mention how that's what drove him in the wrestling business. He says MJF was his way of getting his foot in the door in AEW. He says MJF did pay him a lot of money and helped him get established in AEW.

He says none of that, however, gives him the right to disrespect him or threaten their family. He says it sure as hell doesn't give him the right to put your hands on them.

He says when MJF smacked him he set his fate. He says at Revolution his actions in the Dog Collar match were to let MJF and everyone else know he's no longer watching his back. He says he's no longer part of The Pinnacle and he claims he is finally free.

Wardlow talks about how he wants out of his b.s. contract with MJF. He makes his goal clear -- he wants the TNT Championship. He says AEW is now officially "Wardlow's World." His music hits again to end the segment.

Keith Lee Wants Nothing To Do With QT Marshall

We shoot backstage where Alex Marvez is standing by with Keith Lee and QT Marshall. Marshall tells Keith Lee that he sees why they call him "Limitless."

Marshall goes on to mention he helped train Hook and then says he's aware of Lee's issues with Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks.

Marshall tells Lee he and The Factory have his back. Lee says he's got a big enough back and assures him he's fine on his own. He walks off as Marshall yells that he'll pay for this.

AEW World Tag-Team Championships
Jurassic Express (C) vs. The Acclaimed

We return inside the arena to the familiar sounds of Jurassic Express' theme song. Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus make their way to the ring for their tag-team title defense.

As they settle in the ring, their music fades down. Now the equally familiar sounds of the hip-hop theme for The Acclaimed plays. Max Caster freestyles his way to the ring along with his partner, Anthony Bowens.

They enter the ring together and the bell sounds. Jungle Boy and Anthony Bowens kick things off for their respective teams as this tag-team title match gets off-and-running.

We see Bowens faring well early on, however Jungle Boy ends up fighting his way into the offensive driver's seat. He then heads over and tags in the big masked man.

With that said, Luchasaurus hits the ring and starts working over Bowens and Caster. Caster tags in and Luchasaurus goes to work on him the corner with Jungle Boy. He then tags Jungle Boy in.

Jungle Boy looks to keep the momentum going, however some interference from Bowens on the floor at ringside leads to The Acclaimed taking over control of the action. Excalibur talks us into a mid-match commercial break as the match continues.

When we return from the break, we see the two teams going at it with fast-paced offense. The Acclaimed try and use the boombox in sneaky fashion, however Luchasaurus stops them and shifts the momentum back in the favor of Jurassic Express.

Later on, we see Bowens nearly benefit from a cheap shot from Caster with the chain wrapped around his hand. Christian Cage ends up stopping that from happening. This sets up Jurassic Express to hit their top-rope double-team finisher for the pin fall victory.

Winners and STILL AEW Tag-Team Champions: Jurassic Express

Jade Cargill Issues Open Challenge For TBS Women's Championship

We shoot to a special message from the TBS Women's Champion. We see Jade Cargill and Mark Sterling standing together talking about how it's not who's next, it's who's left?

Jade then issues an open challenge for anyone who wants her beautiful kiss of death to step up.

"Legit" Leyla Hirsch vs. Thunder Rosa

We head back inside the arena where "Legit" Leyla Hirsch's theme hits. She makes her way down to the ring as the commentators talk about not many people being aware that she is the number one ranked contender in the women's division in AEW.

She settles into the ring and then her music dies down. Now the theme for Thunder Rosa hits and her opponent for this title eliminator bout makes her way to the ring.

With both women in the ring, the bell sounds and we're off-and-running with this one. Rosa handles herself well, giving Leyla all she can handle, including on the mat where Hirsch is exceptional.

When we return from the break, we see Rosa dominating the action. This continues for a while and then when Hirsch gets thrown to the floor we see her take the padding off the turnbuckle in the corner.

Red Velvet runs out and picks it up and tells Hirsch she's not going to get away with it. Back in the ring, we see a big near-finish with a submission. After that, Rosa hits her finisher and scores the pin fall. She will now challenge for the women's title once again.

Winner and NEW No. 1 Contender To AEW Women's Title: Thunder Rosa

Steel Cage Title Match Announced For Next Week

We are told that there is a huge announcement as Rosa is celebrating in the ring.

Tony Schiavone stands up from his booth and brings up the lights out match from the past being a memorable classic.

Now we are informed that Rosa will challenge for the AEW Women's Championship against Britt Baker on next week's show -- in a Steel Cage match.

Britt Baker Reacts To Huge Announcement

Britt Baker is then shown backstage reacting to the match. She talks about how they're putting up a cage to keep all of her friends out of the ring, but Rosa will have all of San Antonio with her.

She then says Jamie Hayter is going to finish Mercedes Martinez on Rampage this week and ensures her she's not afraid of Rosa, she's afraid if someone like her, with carny-riff-raff, becomes a champion.

Baker then says Rosa might have got the pin in the memorable Lights Out match that was just mentioned. She says she might've got the pin, but Baker is the one who would go on to achieve success.

TNT Championship
Sammy Guevara (C) vs. Scorpio Sky

We return from another commercial break to the ring entrance of Scorpio Sky. He settles in the ring with Dan Lambert and "All Ego" Ethan Page remaining at ringside.

Now the theme for the reigning and defending champion, Sammy Guevara, hits to bring "The Spanish God" down to the squared circle for our main event of the evening.

The bell sounds and we see some early back-and-forth action and then things spill out to the ringside area. A table is introduced into the mix as Guevara beats Sky down and lays him across it.

Guevara climbs to the top-rope and comes off with his crazy flipping 450-splash, however nobody was home as Sky rolled out of the way in time. Guevara crashes and burns through the table, which is quickly smashed into 1,000 splinters -- one of which seemed to puncture Guevara in the side of his body.

We see some replays of this insane spot and then when we return live, Tay Conti rushes down to Guevara's side to check on him. As this is going on, Excalibur talks us into a mid-match commercial break.

As we return from the break, we see Guevara's body is taped up, and the commentators mention how he came into the bout with an injured side. Sky and Guevara duke it out wildly and then Sky sends Guevara out to the floor.

Conti checks on Guevara again and then Sky heads out to the floor to mock Conti, telling her to kiss it and make it better. She ignores him, and he says he'll do it for her and mocks her. He brings Guevara back into the ring and then the camera focuses on Conti being confronted by Paige Van Zant, the women's MMA star and Dancing with the Stars competitor who is sitting in the front row.

Once the action resumes in the ring, we see Sky starting to focus his attack on the injured body of Guevara. The camera angle keeps changing to show Conti at ringside cheering on the TNT champion. We also see a few shots of PVZ in the front row. Meanwhile, Guevara is finally starting to show signs of life inside the ring as Sky continues to put it on him.

Sammy hits a back heel kick to Sky that puts him down. He follows that up by springboarding from the ring apron to the top-rope for a flying cutter. He goes for the follow-up pin attempt, however Sky kicks out at two-and-a-half.

Sky goes for the TKO but Sammy counters it and hits his GTH finisher. He can't go for the pin because Sky rolls out to the floor. Sammy goes for the shooting star press when Sky rolls back into the ring, however he got his knees up in time, so both guys are down.

Conti and Ethan Page are shown bickering at ringside and then out of nowhere, Paige VanZant attacks her from behind. Sammy is up back in the ring, however he is focused on the Paige Van Zant and Conti brawl outside the ring. This allows Sky to hit his finisher and score the pin fall victory. We have a new TNT Champion -- and his name is Scorpio Sky.

Winner and NEW TNT Champion: Scorpio Sky

After The Match: Paige Van Zant Signs With AEW

Once the match wraps up, we see Sky celebrating with his title in the ring as the commentators talk about him having the distinction of being the only man to hold the TNT Championship and the AEW Tag-Team titles.

Now we see the rest of The Men of the Year and Dan Lambert join him in the ring, as well as Paige Van Zant. She pulls out a piece of paper, which the commentators inform us is an AEW contract.

Van Zant signs it and celebrates with the rest of the group. That's how this week's show wraps up. We head off the air on that note. Thanks for joining us
