AEW filed a new trademark for the term “Paid in Full” on Monday, February 23, according to a report by Fightful.com. This trademark is intended for professional wrestling exhibitions, specifically for performances by a tag team of wrestlers.
While the term “Paid in Full” is meant for a tag team, it has not yet been confirmed which tag team will use it. The tag team division has been becoming increasingly competitive, highlighted by The Rascalz defeating the reigning tag champions, FTR, over the weekend during an AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator Match on Collision.
Below is the description submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO):
“Conducting entertainment exhibitions in the nature of professional wrestling exhibits and performances by professional wrestlers, namely, performances by a tag team of wrestlers during professional wrestling events; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances.”
