-- AEW star Adam Copeland announced X that he suffered a broken tibia coming out of his match at Double or Nothing. The veteran wrestler jumped off the top of a steel cage and landed feet first during his match with Malakai Black at the PPV on Sunday. In the video below, he reveals a pair of crutches while detailing his injury.
"I’ve been feeling really good lately, been having so much fun in the ring and I got cocky, I guess what it really boils down to, I'm probably a narcissist and an egomaniac. My brain forgets what my body always seems to remember...a little late, is that I’m 50 and...I need to make better choices. So, my body pulled the emergency brake on me the other night and I ended up fracturing my tibia, which is going to require surgery, don’t know the time frame on that yet. I'll find out the timeframe kinda next week and everything."
