-- The CM Punk promo that took place on the first episode of AEW Collision on Saturday was 100% "of the cuff and not "verbiage" according to a report by pwinsiderelite.com. While Punk had some specific lines in mind that he wanted to get out there, the promo was not something that was created by management or scripted and Punk was given full freedom (as he always is) to go out and speak to the audience.
-- The report notes that there was no indication that anyone from AEW's management team had any problems with what Punk said and the consensus feeling backstage was that of a "sense of relief" that Punk is finally back and that he successfully got through his first match. There was even speculation that now that Punk is back on Collision, it's only a matter of time before we see him also asked to return on AEW Dynamite.
-- It is believed that Kenny Omega vs. Will Ospreay will be closing Sunday's upcoming Forbidden Door PPV in Toronto.
-- Amanda Huber has begun working on the production end of AEW after previously working in the community outreach area for the promotion. PWInsider.com reported that Huber was recruited to move over to production by Michael Mansury, the current co-Executive producer for AEW and former VP in WWE.
