-- A veteran former world champion who joined AEW in May of 2021 is set to see his three-year contract expire soon.
-- A fightfulselect.com report reveals that WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry's deal with AEW is coming up due at the end of the month, after he debuted for the promotion back in 2021 at Double or Nothing on May 30. Since joining AEW, Henry has worked in a variety of roles including as an analyst, coach, mentor and scout while also conducting interviews on-screen on AEW Rampage. He is also regularly on Busted Open Radio.
-- The former World Champ hasn't actually wrestled in AEW and last stepped in the ring for WWE at the Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018 and you have to go back to early 2017 to find his last singles match. Despite this lengthy inactivity, Henry has teased returning to the ring for one final retirement match, though he has made no secret about the fact that he has no idea when or where it would happen or what it would take make that match materialize.
