-- Tony Khan appeared on AEW Dynamite last night, revealing that he has purchased Ring of Honor (ROH) from Sinclair. Fightfulselect.com reports that Khan had been interested in this purchase dating back to 2020 but in recent weeks, another offer came in and Sinclair and Joe Koff were leaning in that direction instead. WWE officials meanwhile were assuming that Khan's announcement was going to be that he purchased a non-NJPW Japanese video library but by Tuesday night, there was "chatter" that ROH was being sold, which is when presumably everyone started getting wind of what the announcement was going to be.
-- It's unclear how much Khan paid to acquire ROH, but the report suggests that previous sale prices were in the range of $20 to $40 million but whether Khan paid those full prices is not yet known.
