-- Kenny Omega made his return to AEW TV last night on Dynamite where he promised he would be returning to the ring in short order as he looks to exhaust all his options. Before the show went off air though, Omega was laid out by the The Elite after challenging Kazuchika Okada to a match down the road.
-- In case it wasn't obvious, Fightfulselect.com reported yesterday that Omega is not expected to return to in-ring action imminently and is still recovering from his battle with diverticulitis. He was added to Dynamite last night in Winnipeg (his hometown) as a way to increase ticket sales "among other things." It would seem that The Elite laying out Omega will be a natural development to explain his continued absence from in-ring competition. He hasn't wrestled since December.
