-- A pair of AEW stars looked to suffer injuries during last night's airing of Dynamite Grand Slam. Jon Moxley was legitimately hurt during his match against Rey Fenix where was defending the International Title. Moxley was on the receiving end of a Black Fire Driver and appeared to hit his head into the mat. As Fenix was covering him for the pinfall, Moxley appeared to be telling referee Rick Nox something (possibly to count to three) but Knox only counted to two as that was not the planned finish despite Moxley not attempting to kick out. Fenix then decided to hit another Black Fire Driver and this time Knox counted the pin. It was later reported that Moxley is "okay" but may have suffered a concussion.

Looks like Moxley may have told the ref to call an audible after the first count.
Really hope Mox is good. 🙏🏼 #AEWGrandSlam pic.twitter.com/iyMpoFMykr— alistair (@beesdontbuzz) September 21, 2023
-- Adam Cole meanwhile seemed to injure himself as he ran in during the Samoa Joe vs. MJF title match. As he awkwardly ran down the elevated ramp and sort of jumped off, Cole came up limping. He apparently headed to the hospital after the show to get checked out and there is no word on the severity of his injury.
Adam Cole has arrived to show support to his tag team partner!
