AEW's upcoming Beach Break specials for Dynamite and Collision won't be airing as a single four-hour live block next month.
According to Post Wrestling—citing updated TBS listings and confirmation from AEW officials—Dynamite will air live on Wednesday, May 14th in its regular time slot, with Collision being taped immediately afterward. Collision will then air in its usual slot on Saturday, May 17th. Both shows will take place at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
During this week’s Dynamite, announcer Excalibur referenced a four-hour Beach Break broadcast, leading many fans to assume both shows would air live back-to-back, especially with two such marathon events already scheduled for June (Fyter Fest and the Summer Blockbuster).
This marks the fourth Beach Break event in AEW history, dating back to 2021, and the second year in a row it's being held in the Chicago area. Last year’s Beach Break took place at the Wintrust Arena.
