AEW Rampage Results (3/4/2022): Addition Financial Arena, Orlando, FL.

It's Friday night, and you know what that means ...

All Elite Wrestling returns with this week's edition of Rampage on TNT, which emanates from Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida.

On tap for the main event of tonight's "go-home" show for Sunday's AEW Revolution pay-per-view is Sammy Guevara vs. Darby Allin vs. Andrade El Idolo for the TNT Championship. Also scheduled for the show is another Face Of The Revolution Qualifier between Ethan Page and Christian Cage, Serena Deeb's latest 'Professor's 5-Minute Rookie Challenge,' and Keith Lee will also be in action.

Featured below are complete AEW Rampage results from Friday, March 4, 2022.

AEW RAMPAGE RESULTS (3/4/2022)

We get the AEW Revolution "go-home" show off-and-running with the usual "This is Rampage, baby!" theme song and cold open video. After that, we shoot inside the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, FL. where Excalibur welcomes us to the show.

TNT Championship
Sammy Guevara (C) vs. Darby Allin vs. Andrade El Idolo

He is joined by Taz, Chris Jericho and Ricky Starks on commentary and they immediately send things down to the ring where "The Dapper Yapper" Justin Roberts begins the formal pre-match ring introductions for our opening contest.

Already in the ring are the three competitors in this title contest, which is for the TNT Championship. After the introductions are wrapped up, the bell sounds and we get this one off-and-running. Andrade immediately jumps out to the floor to let Darby Allin and Sammy Guevara duke it out among themselves.

And duke it out, they do, as "The Spanish God" connects with his signature Code Red move for a close near fall on Darby. He looks at Darby with a big smirk on his face as he shrugs his shoulders in reaction to the near finish this early into the bout.

As the action continues, we see Sammy going for a superplex off the top-rope when Andrade finally decides to get involved. He gets under Sammy and hoists him up for a power-bomb off the top while he still has Darby up in the suplex position.

Andrade takes a few steps forward and then power bombs Sammy down as Sammy suplexes Darby over and down all at the same time. That was absolutely incredible. Even the commentators with decades of experience like Taz and Chris Jericho admit they've never seen anything like that before.

The crowd likely didn't either, as they break out into a loud "Holy sh*t! Holy sh*t!" chant. The action continues as we head to a mid-match commercial break.

When we return from the commercials, we see the match is still in full swing, with all three guys flying all over the place. Each have their turn in the offensive driver's seat to shine a bit, however when it is all said-and-done, we see Darby connect with a Coffin Drop off the top-rope for a close near fall.

He goes for the cover, only for it to be broken up and moments later, "The Spanish God" gets the 1-2-3 to retain his title.

Winner and STILL TNT Champion: Sammy Guevara

After The Match: Sammy Guevara & Darby Allin At Odds Heading Into Revolution?

After the match, Darby isn't happy, and although they are going to be partners in the six-man tag-team match at AEW Revolution 2022 this coming Sunday night, they aren't on the same page tonight.

Darby walks off angry and heads to the back. Great opener. After this one wraps up, we head back to another commercial break.

Erick Redbeard Joins Death Triangle For Six-Man Bout At AEW Revolution

We return from the break and the commentators send us down to the ring where we see someone in a velvet-looking robe similar to that of Vince McMahon during his "Higher Power" unveiling from the Ministry of Darkness days from WWE's past.

It is Alex Abrahantes along with two men on each side. On one side is "The Bastard" PAC, while Penta El Zero Miedo is on his other side. It sounds as though he is offering to take the place of the injured member of Death Triangle, however we learn that is not the case when Malakai Black appears on the big screen and reacts to Abrahantes acting like he's going to fill-in for Rey Fenix in the six-man match at AEW Revolution.

Instead, when The House of Black -- Malakai Black, Brody King and Buddy Matthews make their way out, we learn via Abrahantes that he wasn't referring to himself after all. He introduces Erick Redbeard, formerly known as Erick Rowan in WWE, who makes his way to the ring and begins cleaning house with the help of PAC and Penta.

Penta ends up threatening to snap the arm of one of the members of The House of Black. He yanks back on it to end the brawl and the commentators hype their big six-man match at Sunday's AEW Revolution PPV.

Dan Lambert & The Men Of The Year Address Upcoming Matches

After a quick backstage promo segment with Dan Lambert and The Men of the Year -- Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky -- we head back to the ring.

The segment wraps up with Lambert hyping the Face of the Revolution Qualifier for tonight's main event, vowing that "All Ego" Ethan Page will be the final entrant in the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match at Sunday's AEW Revolution PPV.

He also makes it clear that Scorpio Sky is going to handle business in his scheduled match after the PPV on next week's AEW TV programming.

Keith Lee vs. JD Drake

Now we settle back inside the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, FL. where Keith Lee's theme hits. The big man emerges from the back and heads down to the ring.

As Lee settles in the ring, his music fades down and we hear Ricky Starks doing an impression of his professional sounding deep voice on commentary.

Now the opponent for Lee is introduced, which is none other than JD Drake. The bell sounds and we're off-and-running with this one-on-one contest.

Early on we see Lee dominating the action, however some interference leads to Drake fighting from underneath back into competitive form. We head to a mid-match commercial break on that note, as the action continues.

When we return from the break, we see Drake still taking it to Lee, however not for long. After hitting a moonsault off the top and going for the cover, Drake is unable to finish off Lee and from here on out, it was all Lee en route to the pin fall victory.

After the match, we see The Wingmen hit the ring and they try to attack Lee. Lee ends up turnnig them inside out with big clotheslines and power bombs. He takes the final member and launches him over the top where he crashes onto Ricky Starks after he left his commentary position and made his way down to the ringside area.

Winner: Keith Lee

CM Punk With A Message For MJF Ahead Of AEW Revolution

We shoot to a special message that was filmed immediately after the attack of CM Punk by MJF at AEW Dynamite this past Wednesday night.

We see "The Best in the World" covered in blood as he is being checked on by medics backstage at Daily's Place amphitheater in Jacksonville, FL.

Punk pops up and begins clapping while still wearing a complete crimson mask. He tells MJF that he's going to get what he wants, because at Revolution in their Dog Collar Match, he's gonna share the ring with the man he idolized.

He says the old violent Punk is back and he's gonna beat down MJF -- because he's better than him, and he knows it.

Jade Cargill Gets Newfound Respect For Tay Conti's Karate

We shoot backstage where we see Jade Cargill and "Smart" Mark Sterling standing by. They are interviewed and Cargill once again mocks Tay Conti and her "karate" and "kicks."

As she wraps up her interview segment with one final insult to Conti and her karate kicks, in comes Conti with said-karate kick, which nearly decapitates the TBS Women's Champion.

The Professor's 5-Minute Rookie Challenge
Serena Deeb vs. Leila Grey

Now we head back to the ring where we see a women's wrestling talent waiting as it is time for the latest edition of "The Professor's 5-Minute Rookie Challenge."

With that said, out comes Serena Deeb as the commentators put over her new violent streak. She settles in the ring and the ring announcer introduces her and her opponent, who we learn is named Leila Grey.

The bell sounds and we're off-and-running with this one. We see Deeb taking Grey apart limb from limb as she has every past opponent in these five-minute rookie challenges. She ultimately ties her up like a pretzel and wins this one the same way she's won them all -- by submission.

Winner: Serena Deeb

After The Match: Hikaru Shida Returns!

One thing very different about this week's installment of The Professor's 5-Minute Rookie Challenge, however, is that after Deeb picks up the easy submission victory in squash match form, things weren't over yet.

And not because Deeb is continuing to punish her opponent unnecessarily. Instead, this time we hear the familiar sounds of Hikaru Shida's theme music and the former AEW Women's Champion makes her way down to the ring.

Shida immediately takes it to Deeb, who she beats down and leaves running off as she talks about how Deeb failed to put her away for good.

Eddie Kingston With A Message For Chris Jericho & Catering

We shoot backstage where Tony Schiavone is standing by with Eddie Kingston. "The Mad King" talks about promos and brings up another insider term -- kayfabe.

He talks briefly about kayfabe and says what is real, however, is that he's gonna beat Chris Jericho's ass at AEW Revolution on Sunday night.

Kingston gloats about how Jericho is going to have no choice but to shake his hand and show him respect after he whoops his ass at the PPV.

He then makes a joke to Schiavone about something they saw in catering earlier in the evening and says that food item is calling his name. They head off to go chow down.

Face Of The Revolution Qualifier
Ethan Page vs. Christian Cage

After the regular weekly pre-main event split-screen interview hosted by Mark Henry, we get ready for our main event. The split-screen interview saw Page and Christian trade some barbs and then "The World's Strongest Man" wraps it up as he does every week, by informing us that the time for talking is over and it's now time to get down to our main event of the evening.

We head to the ring where the familiar sounds of Christian Cage's music plays. "Captain Charisma" makes his way out and heads to the ring. His music fades down.

"All Ego" Ethan Page is out as well and then the bell sounds to get this one off-and-running, The commentators point out that these two are taking this one seriously, as Jurassic Express isn't out there with Christian and Scorpio Sky and Dan Lambert aren't in Page's corner.

The bell sounds to get this one off-and-running. We see some back-and-forth action and then we head to a mid-match commercial break as the bout continues.

We're back from the break and we see Page trying to finish off Christian to earn the final spot in the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match at Sunday's AEW Revolution PPV.

Ultimately, Page isn't able to do so. After some close near fall attempts, we see "Captain Charisma" start to shift the momentum in his favor. He eventually hits his finisher and goes for the cover, earning the pin fall victory and the final spot in the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match at the PPV this weekend.

Winner and ADVANCING to the Face Of The Revolution Ladder Match: Christian Cage

After The Match: The Go-Home Show Ends With A Bang

Once the match wraps up, we see Christian Cage celebrating his victory and then the familiar sounds of Jurassic Express' theme hits.

Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus make their way down to the ring. The AEW World Tag-Team Champions help Christian celebrate his big win and then one final post-match scene goes down before this show wraps up.

Out comes reDRagon (Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish) and The Young Bucks (Nick and Matt Jackson). They take the tag titles and goof around with them until Jungle Boy goes flying, splashing onto them and taking them out.

He re-enters the ring and stands tall along with Luchasaurus and Christian Cage. That's how this week's show wraps up and goes off the air. Thanks for joining us and make sure to stop back by again on Sunday night for live AEW Revolution 2022 results coverage.
