The pay-per-view buyrate for the recent AEW Revolution show apparently drew better than initial reports suggested.
It was previously noted that the show, largely considered among the best in company history, drew somewhere between 146,000-170,000 buys on pay-per-view.
The figure was based on estimates from the streaming numbers on the Bleacher Report Live and FITE TV services, as well as some additional buys from traditional cable pay-per-view providers.
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio at F4WOnline.com, Dave Meltzer reported that the show actually drew a bit more than that.
According to the longtime editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the AEW Revolution 2022 show drew between 165,000-170,000 buys on pay-per-view, which would guarantee it drew at least the second-most in AEW history.
