-- Deadline.com is reporting AEW superstar MJF has been cast in the upcoming Netflix film - Happy Gilmore 2 - which is a sequel to the original movie starring Adam Sandler, who is back for the second movie.
-- While Deadline reported that the plot for the movie and MJF's role is "under wraps", pwinsider.com reports that MJF will be playing the role of Gordie, one of the sons of Happy Gilmore (Sandler). They describe his role (and that of the other sons) as "tough crazy bastards with New England accents who have inherited their father's love of hockey. They all live on their own and work blue collar jobs." The report adds that the film scripts has the sons filmed at different ages across the movie and will shoot through November in New Jersey.
It's unclear how long MJF will be on-set filming.
