Another Former UFC Fighter & MMA Legend Explains Why He Should Be Inducted Into WWE Hall Of Fame

Dan Severn is a UFC Hall of Fame legend.

But should he also join one of the future coveted classes in the WWE Hall Of Fame?

"The Beast" thinks so.

The longtime UFC and MMA legend, who is also a former NWA World's Heavyweight Champion that never lost his title reign inside the squared circle recently spoke with Wrestling Inc. for an in-depth interview.

During the discussion, Severn was asked whether or not he feels he should be inducted into the most prestigious and widely recognized Hall of Fame in the industry, which he not only felt he should, but said so in a manner that made it feel like it was an obvious call for those in charge to make.

Featured below are some of the highlights from the interview where he touches on this topic, as well as how he feels he wasn't used properly during his run in WWE in the 1990s.

On his belief that he should be in the WWE Hall of Fame: "First off, based on some of the people that are in there, should I be in there? Oh hell yes."

On how he doesn’t think WWE used him correctly during his run in the company: "Now, did they use me correctly? No. In the beginning they did. But I think they realized, ‘We have no control mechanisms over this guy. If we put a strap on him, who’s to say he’s [not] going to go over to the NWA and lose the strap there?’ … Because again, I’m not working exclusively for the NWA, I’m working for someone else. But at the same token, did they ever converse with me? No. ‘Cause as I stated with you before, I still work matches now."
