Another Title Match Made Official For ROH's Death Before Dishonor PPV

It was previously announced that ROH is set to hold their second PPV Event under the ownership of AEW President and CEO Tony Khan on Saturday, July 23 from the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts. As of this writing, four matches have already been made official for ROH's Death Before Dishonor.

It was announced that ROH World TV Champion Samoa Joe will defend his championship against Jay Lethal in a standard ROH World TV Title Match, ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta will put his title on the line against Daniel Garcia, ROH World Tag Team Champions FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) will put their ROH World Tag Team Titles on the line against The Briscoes (Mark Briscoe and Jay Briscoe) in a 2-Out-Of-3 Falls Matchup and ROH Women's World Champion Mercedes Martinez will defend her ROH Women's World Championship against Serena Deeb.

Last night's Fyter Fest Week 1 episode of AEW Rampage saw Claudio Castagnoli issue a challenge to ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham for his ROH World Title at the upcoming Death Before Dishonor XIX PPV Event. This comes after Gresham successfully defended his title during last night's Fyter Fest Week 1 episode of AEW Rampage and cut a post-match promo, where he noted he will outclass and outwrestle all of the favorites of the AEW fans, while also declaring himself the best hold-for-hold wrestler in the world until he was interrupted by Castagnoli. AEW then later confirmed the match for ROH Death Before Dishonor.

Castagnoli competed in ROH from 2005 to 2011, where he won the ROH World Tag Team Championship on two occasions with his longtime partner and friend Chris Hero as The Kings Of Wrestling. Jonathan Gresham has held the ROH World Championship for more than 200 days.
