Another Update On Mariah May's AEW Status; Reportedly Still Has Plenty Of Time Left On Her Deal

Earlier today, a report emerged that indicated that former AEW Women's Champion Mariah May's contract was expiring this summer and that she was strongly looking at leaving for WWE. In an update, pwinsiderelite.com is reporting that that report may not be entirely accurate.

According to the new story, May reportedly still has "significant time" left on her AEW deal so anyone who is expecting her to jump ship within the next two months will likely be left waiting. As per one source, May's AEW contract runs through at least November while another source suggested that there could be additional time beyond that on her agreement. This could potentially be related to an option year that was speculated on last month.

May has not been featured on AEW TV since her match with Toni Storm at AEW Revolution. It was rumored that after that program, May requested an early release from AEW and while not much was known on how that request was received but she obviously was not granted an exit and remains contractually bound to AEW. When WWE sources were asked about potential interest in her services, the company did not offer much of a comment referencing that she is signed elsewhere at the moment.
