Could Bad Bunny be heading to All Elite Wrestling?
Arizona Democratic Senator Ruben Gallego wants to see it happen.
The state senator surfaced via social media on Friday to deliver a message to the AEW President Tony Khan about the aforementioned multi-time Grammy nominated worldwide music star.
“Tony Khan it’s time for AEW to solidify a huge fan base,” Gallego wrote. “[Bad Bunny] love wrestling, need him to make some appearances."
Gallego continued, "Just no stretcher match please.”
Ruben Gallego's timing overlaps with heightened political-world attention around AEW this week tied to fan chants about ICE heard during AEW Dynamite broadcasts.
Bad Bunny has famously worked multiple matches in WWE. Most recently, he appeared in the crowd at a CMLL show, a Mexican promotion that AEW has close ties to, having co-promoted multiple shows with them in the recent past.
.@TonyKhan it’s time for @AEW to solidify a huge fan base. @sanbenito love wrestling, need him to make some appearances. Just no stretcher match please.
