This past April 14, former WWE Star Armando Alejandro Estrada filed to trademark his own in-ring name with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) for entertainment as well as merchandising purposes. Armando filed to trademark his own in-ring name using his real name via Attorney Michael E. Dockins, who has helped several Indie wrestlers and AEW Stars file their trademarks as well.
Armando Estrada made his pro wrestling debut in 2004 under the WWE's OVW developmental promotion. The Palestinian-American born pro wrestler and manager was then called up to the WWE main roster in April 2006 and was placed on the WWE RAW brand to be the heel manager for the debuting Umaga. Estrada would then be announced as the General Manager of the ECW brand on August 14th, 2007. Estrada last appeared for the WWE on the August 12th, 2008 episode of ECW, losing to pro wrestling legend Finlay in Singles action. On November 18th, 2008, Estrada was released from his WWE contract after months of not having a storyline.
Estrada then made his return to the independent circuit in 2009-2012, but would return for the WWE as well on the May 26th, 2011 episode of WWE Superstars as the manager of Tyson Kidd. Even though he was not seen on WWE TV again, Estrada actually remained under contract to WWE until June 26, 2012, before being officially let go by the company on July 2nd, 2012. In 2013, Armando Estrada would announce his retirement from pro wrestling.
