Asuka Reveals Which Two Wrestlers Are Her Dream Opponents

WWE Monday Night RAW Star Asuka recently spoke with Entertainment Tonight Canada, where she mentioned which Japanese wrestler she was really inspired by.

Asuka said, “There are many great Asian wrestlers in the world.” “When I was a teenager, I watched wrestling on TV. The Japanese wrestlers gave me energy and courage. I want to entertain a lot of people like they did for me. The Great Muta. A Japanese wrestler. He is so good and so cool.”

Asuka then said that it was her mother who gave her the courage and will to return to wrestling after she retired back in 2004 due to chronic nephritis.

Asuka said, “I had a problem, but I want to entertain people.” “It’s my goal. My mother told me I have to fight again.”

Asuka then revealed which wrestlers are her dream opponents.

Asuka said, “I want to wrestle with Triple H and Ric Flair.” “I fought many great WWE superstars. Oh, Ronda Rousey. One day!”

Asuka then talked about what goals she has left in the WWE.

Asuka said, “People all over the world are watching WWE.” “My goal in WWE is to get more people to know me. I want to share the wonderful cultures of Japanese and Asians as an Asian.”

Asuka is set to take on Charlotte Flair and RAW Women's Champion Rhea Ripley in a Triple Threat Match for the RAW Women's Title on this Sunday's WWE WrestleMania Backlash PPV.
