Backstage News On Bandido’s Status After Last Wednesday’s AEW Collision Tapings

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) held its latest television tapings last Wednesday night at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas, for this week's episode of Collision. During the tapings, AEW World Tag Team Champion and ROH World Champion Bandido faced Máscara Dorada in a singles match, which Bandido won. Reports indicate that Bandido may have injured his shoulder while performing a dive, but he managed to finish the match.

According to Dave Meltzer on the most recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, he is uncertain whether Bandido legitimately suffered an injury. Meltzer noted that Bandido has been working matches while seemingly selling a shoulder issue. He speculates that it may just be part of the storyline. After speaking with several people who watched the match, Meltzer mentioned that they believed Bandido might have actually hurt his arm, but it's the same arm he has been selling for weeks.

This is not the first time Bandido has portrayed a potentially worked shoulder injury as if it were legitimate. Earlier this month, he reportedly sold what was believed to be a worked shoulder injury backstage after his match with Hechicero at a CMLL show.
