According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE star Bianca Belair's long recovery is nearing its end, placing her firmly back on the company's radar for a possible surprise return at today's Royal Rumble 2026 premium live event (PLE).
Meltzer also noted that Belair has been out for quite some time, having sustained a broken finger on her left hand during the WrestleMania 41 Triple Threat Championship Match against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley. He believes that Belair "should be ready" to return to in-ring competition in Riyadh. Additionally, Belair currently has the second highest odds of winning the Women’s Royal Rumble Match on many betting sites.
Belair has not competed in WWE since the spring and was last seen as a guest referee for Jade Cargill vs. Naomi at the Evolution premium live event in July 2025. She is among several anticipated returnees, including Tiffany Stratton. WWE has a long-standing tradition of featuring major surprise returns during the Royal Rumble, and this could be the perfect opportunity for Belair to make her comeback.
