-- It's been a couple of weeks since CM Punk made a shocking return to WWE after nearly a decade away and as reported recently, his presence has been welcomed with positivity. A fightfulselect.com report has more details on how Punk has been interacting with talent since his return.
-- The report notes that after appearing on NXT Deadline alongside Shawn Michaels, Phas been spotted at the WWE Performance Center earlier this week to more positive reviews. After showing up on Raw this week, Punk flew to Orlando without being obligated to and spent most of the day at the PC working backstage and helping anyone who asked for assistance. He was seen hanging out with talent in the lounge, watching matches with talent and providing feedback.
-- Shawn Michaels has long been one of CM Punk's most public advocates, going to bat for him and suggesting a return even before discussions got serious. WWE sources have also noted that Punk is welcome at the company's PC whenever he wants and according to a report by WrestlePurists, Punk's long-term goal appears to be to succeed Michaels as the head of NXT. It should be noted that while Michaels is 58 years old, there are currently no plans for him to step down or retire so any suggestions of Punk succeeding him appear to be a long ways away.
-- The fightful report added that everyone that has spoken on Punk's presence at the Performance Center have stated that he's been a "pleasure to deal with so far" and his interactions have generated significant excitement amongst talent and officials.
