As previously reported, WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk was notably absent from last Monday night’s episode of RAW because he was filming for the upcoming Netflix romantic comedy, “The Bodyguard”.
According to PWInsider.com, Punk was always scheduled to miss the first two RAW episodes in December 2025 due to his commitment to the film. The report also indicates that Punk is set to return to WWE TV for next week’s episode of RAW, which will take place in Hershey, Pennsylvania. This follows WWE.com’s announcement that Punk will be featured on the show scheduled for December 15 at the GIANT Center.
Punk is facing a significant challenge ahead, as he will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker during the first episode of WWE RAW in 2026. This event is set for Monday, January 5th, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, and will air live on Netflix starting at 8:00 PM ET.
