According to Fightful Select, Danhausen's contract with AEW was set to expire on July 1st. However, he remains under contract because additional months were added due to his extended absence, ensuring that he will stay with AEW until at least 2026.
The report also noted that Danhausen had requested AEW not to exercise the option to extend his contract, expressing his willingness to leave the company since he is rarely utilized. Currently, there are no creative plans for him.
Danhausen's last appearance for AEW/ROH occurred at Final Battle, where he made an appearance and cursed Mason Madden.
