-- This week on WWE's Monday Night Raw, NXT's Dijak was drafted to the red brand in a pick that took place after the show went off air. Soon thereafter, his contract status became a topic of conversation on social media with many assuming that he had inked a new deal with WWE given his move from NXT to Raw. Fightfulselect.com is reporting that as of yesterday morning, that is untrue and Dijak has yet to sign a new contract and in fact, he hasn't even been approached yet for negotiations. It is believed that if Dijak hit free agency, there would be "outside interest" in his services - presumably from AEW - however, sources in that company have been fairly certain he's not going anywhere.
-- The report adds that despite the lack of movement, both Dijak and WWE are confident that a new deal will be reached as both Triple H and Shawn Michaels have been vocal supporters and Dijak has received recent praise for his activities on social media. While Dijak has been officially called up to Raw via the draft, the fightful report states that WWE creative has yet to firm up any plans for him, however, ideas have been pitched. The decision to move him to Raw may have even been a last minute decision as Dijak himself was not even aware he was getting drafted.
