-- This week's episode of WWE NXT ended with a bang, notably with the debut of Zaria (formerly known as Delta in Australia). Unfortunately, many markets around the country did not see the debut as the show was cut off air before her appearance.
-- Fightfulselect.com reports that NXT was always planned to run until exactly 10 PM ET and a lot of planning goes into making sure the signs off exactly at that time as CW does not afford NXT any overruns or flexibility due to local affiliate stations airing news at that time.
-- However, producers became aware that many CW affiliates were running their broadcasts on a 20-second delay which ended up with the final stages of the episode being cut off. This happened despite WWE officials confirming with satellite providers that the show would stay on the air until 10pm ET. As a result of this mixup, NXT officials were said to be "very upset" that the ending was missed by many viewers and one NXT source noted that "everyone who runs or has a say in the show was pissed."
-- Problems like this were anticipated in the time leading up to WWE's debut on CW due to the hard-outs that the station has to get NXT off the air; this would be unlike the liberties WWE was afforded on the USA Network, which was on cable.
