AEW star Gabe Kidd, who is one-third of the former AEW World Trios Champions and part of The Dogs, apparently suffered an injury during their World Trios Championship match at last night’s AEW Dynasty pay-per-view. Kidd was taken to the back around the midpoint of the match.
According to Fightful Select, Kidd appeared to be legitimately injured when he was brought backstage and was holding his wrist. The report also noted that the competitors had to adjust their plans on the fly, as the match had to continue without Kidd. There is currently no word on the severity of Kidd’s injury, but updates will be provided as they become available.
In the match, The Conglomeration, which included a returning Kyle O'Reilly, defeated The Dogs for the titles. It is still unclear whether the finish of the match was altered due to Kidd's injury. The Dogs had won the championships at AEW Collision, which was taped after Dynamite.
