The Hardy Boyz, consisting of Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy, defeated DarkState (Osiris Griffin and Dion Lennox) at the NXT vs. TNA Showdown last Tuesday night. This victory allowed them to retain their TNA World Tag Team Championships and also earn the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships. Additionally, Matt and Jeff won the HOG Tag Team Titles at HOG With Glory Comes Pride last Friday, defeating The Mane Event (Jay Lyon and Midas Black) in a Title vs. Title Winners Take All match.
According to Fightful Select, the Hardy brothers' contracts with TNA Wrestling are set to expire in November 2025, as they signed one-year deals back in November 2024. The report highlighted that Matt and Jeff have gone above and beyond for TNA Wrestling by staying for several hours after shows have concluded to participate in meet-and-greet sessions with fans. TNA is hopeful about signing them to new contracts.
Furthermore, the report indicated that “no less than a dozen” TNA contracts, including those of The IInspiration and Cedric Alexander, are set to expire before the end of the year.
Matt and Jeff are scheduled to face the Dudleys at TNA Bound For Glory on Sunday, October 12, where they will defend both their TNA World Tag Team Titles and WWE NXT Tag Team Titles in a Tables Match.
