The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz, Dezmond Xavier, and Myron Reed) signed with AEW last January and have been using the same entrance theme that they used while still a part of TNA/iMPACT Wrestling. This has led to speculation that All Elite Wrestling acquired the rights to the song from TNA.
However, according to Fightful Select, that is not the case. The theme song was already part of one of the music libraries that AEW licenses, which allowed the company to use it without incurring additional costs.
Trey Miguel is no longer using the theme song since his return to TNA on the January 22nd episode of iMPACT. Instead, he has reverted to the theme he used during his previous runs outside of The Rascalz.
Xavier and Wentz have an AEW World Tag Team Championship match coming up after they defeated FTR in an eliminator match on last Saturday night’s episode of Collision. They secured the victory thanks to a distraction from The Young Bucks, who are set to face FTR at AEW Revolution. There is currently no information on when The Rascalz will have their World Tag Team Championship match, but updates will be provided as they become available.
