As previously reported, an announcement during WWE Backlash revealed that the 2026 edition of AAA’s signature event, TripleMania, will take place on Friday, September 11th, and Sunday, September 13th. The second night will be held in Ciudad de Mexico, Mexico City.
While WWE has not yet disclosed the location for the first night, Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that there is speculation within the company suggesting it could occur somewhere in the United States. Additionally, the report noted plans to integrate more AAA elements into WWE programming, a strategy aimed at expanding the reach of the Mexican promotion.
Several WWE talents have shown interest in working AAA shows, but details regarding which specific talents will participate and how they may be utilized are not yet available.
This year’s TripleMania will be the 34th iteration of the event. Last year’s show took place on August 16th at Arena CDMX in Mexico City, where El Hijo del Vikingo retained the AAA Mega Championship against Dominik Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and El Grande Americano in the main event.
