Recently, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair revealed on The Ariel Helwani Show that he was not invited to WrestleMania 42 after he threatened WWE star Ludwig Kaiser before WrestleMania 41 last year.
Flair explained that he made the threat due to comments Kaiser made about his daughter, Charlotte Flair, during her feud with Tiffany Stratton, who was Kaiser’s partner at the time. The situation escalated during a memorable SmackDown promo that went off-course. Flair stated that he called Kaiser and warned him, “Hey, when I see you, I’m going to beat the **** out of you.” This prompted Kaiser to report the incident to WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque, resulting in Flair being banned from last year’s event and subsequently not invited to this year's.
According to Fightful Select, WWE sources did not recall any issues between Flair and Kaiser. Additionally, it was noted that Flair is believed to still be under contract with AEW. However, he has not appeared on AEW television since AEW Collision: Beach Break on May 17 of last year, when he made a guest appearance to pay tribute to the late Steve McMichael.
