TNA Wrestling held its Genesis event last Saturday, and during the Countdown to Genesis pre-show, KJ Orso made his appearance, competing in a four-way match for the TNA International Championship. In the end, Stacks retained his title in the match, which also featured Eric Young and BDE.
Following the match, there was speculation about whether Orso had signed with TNA Wrestling. However, a report from Fightful Select has clarified that Orso has not received a contract offer at this time. Sources within TNA indicated that Orso made a good impression during his appearance on the pre-show. Additionally, it was noted in the report that AEW has previously kept the door open for Orso to return, but there are no updates on any progress regarding that possibility.
Orso is better known to some fans as Fuego Del Sol. He was signed to AEW from 2021 until mid-2023. Additionally, he previously competed in a match at iMPACT’s Victory Road in 2019 and participated in events for iMPACT and World Class Revolution’s Operation Override that same year. His match at Genesis marked his first bout under the TNA banner. He was also a regular performer for GCW in 2025 while participating in various other independent shows.
