Backstage News On Liv Morgan Being Pulled From Raw, How Long She Will Be Out Of Action

Where was Liv Morgan on Monday night?

As we reported here at Rajah.com prior to this week's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, the WWE Women's Tag-Team Champion was pulled from her originally scheduled match on the weekly three-hour WWE on USA Network television program in Greensboro, N.C. due to an injury suffered on last week's WWE Friday Night SmackDown show.

Morgan was also pulled from a scheduled Meet And Greet prior to Raw and replaced by Dolph Ziggler.

The match originally scheduled for Raw between Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez and "The Complaint Department" team of Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green was changed to a singles match, which saw Rodriguez defeat Green before being attacked by Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler.

Dave Meltzer addressed the injury and time frame for the WWE return of Morgan on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio at F4WOnline.com.

"That’s legit. She was hurt in the Friday match," Meltzer began. "If you’re going to miss six months then yes, but if it’s just one match they don’t strip [of the title] for a minor injury. I don’t know what the injury is, and they didn’t say, but the way everything was played up, you know it’s not like if she was going to be out for a long time with this injury, she’d say she was out, and then they would take steps of stripping them of the belts."

He added, "You know, it felt like it was something where, you know she’s going to be back very soon. And they went and did an angle with Ronda and Bazler with Raquel to build up a title match so I think it’s a short-term thing for Liv. That’s certainly the impression based on their booking."

We will keep you posted here at Rajah.com as updates regarding Liv Morgan's injury status continue to surface.
