Backstage News On Makeup Of WWE's Raw & Smackdown Creative Teams

WWE's creative team has long been a topic of interest for many fans and over the years, more information about the personnel involved in creative decisions has come to light.

A new report from pwinsiderelite.com reports that while Paul "Triple H" Levesque remains the company's creative head and ultimately responsible for approving everything, there are other key members of his team that play prominent roles as well.

Bruce Prichard and Ed Koskey, both long-time WWE employees, were labeled as the "tenured voices" who handle daily operations for the department. Prichard focuses on overseeing the overall process while Koskey's role is more with editing scripts to ensure that they align with WWE's company vision.

Ryan Ward is essentially below them in a critical role, managing the creative output for both the Raw and Smackdown brands with other team members specific to each brand as follows.

  • WWE Raw: Alexandra Williams and Jonathan Baeckstrom
  • WWE Smackdown: Brian "Road Dogg" James and John Swikata

The team doesn't end there as below the above people are a team of creative writers who actually write and build out the storylines and segments on a week-to-week basis with the ideas then filtering up the hierarchy ladder.
