WWE veteran Natalya Neidhart has returned to WWE TV but not in the same type of character as we have seen her for much of her career.
Instead, Neidhart is back on TV as the "Low Key Legend" character that she has run with in at various independent promotions across the country in 2025. On the latest WrestleVotes Radio, it was noted that her portrayal of this gimmick, as well as the live and social media reactions to it, caught the attention of senior WWE officials. As a result, it ended up with Nattie coming back to WWE TV with that character in hopes that she can be featured a bit more prominently than she has had in the recent past.
In a recent interview with Sean Ross Sapp, Natalya indicated that she was openly pushing the character within WWE while getting booked outside of the company to prove its merits. Initially, WWE wanted Natalya to continue in her normal character but she pushed for not only the change but to move forward with it permanently. Nattie's recent time off also worked to help transition into a fresh change and the company has been doing its best to put the old character away for good.
