-- NXT's Eddy Thorpe recently returned to action for the Level Up series in March and has wrestled on that show multiple since then while also working NXT live events. Previous to that, Thorpe last wrestled for NXT at Underground in December against Dijak and then disappeared without any explanation why.
-- Corey Brennan of fightfulselect.com is reporting that Thorpe actually hurt himself in that match, suffering a hip injury in what was dubbed a "freak accident" by someone with knowledge of the situation. He ended up being cleared to return to action in the late February, early March timeframe before returning to action on March 19 as noted above.
-- The report added that NXT sources indicated that after his recent run on Level Up, Thorpe is expected on the main NXT roster in the near future and he's believed to be completely for the first time in a while as he was previously injured in the last quarter of 2023 as well.
