Dave Meltzer discussed on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio that this tag team bout was initially intended to have championship implications.
Meltzer noted that the original plan was for Copeland and Cage to secure a victory to set up a future title match, making this a significant opportunity for Sabian and Wayne. However, it was later mentioned in the report that having Copeland and Cage participate in a tag team title match may no longer be part of the plan.
