As previously reported, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is planning a new pay-per-view (PPV) event called "Redemption," scheduled to take place this coming summer, specifically in July. However, the exact date and location of the event have not yet been confirmed.
According to Fightful Select, there have been rumors within the company suggesting that Canada may be the host country, with Montreal being the leading candidate. It was noted in the report that while these details are not yet finalized, an official announcement is expected in the coming weeks.
AEW has not officially confirmed the name "Redemption" for the new PPV as of now. If it occurs in July as reported, the event would be situated between AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, which is set for June 28th in San Jose, California, and AEW All In: London on August 30th. Additionally, AEW filed a trademark on April 13th for the terms "Redemption" and "AEW Redemption."
