-- WWE is in Saudi Arabia currently, getting ready to present "Night of Champions" tomorrow and many have wondered how Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are competing on the show after previously not going. For those unaware, Zayn has not been allowed to go to Saudi Arabia in the past due to political issues between the Saudis and Syria (where has ancestral ties to) while Owens decided to opt out as well in support of his friendship with Zayn.
-- The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that recently the Arab Foreign Ministers accepted Syria back into the Arab League which drastically improved the relations between the two countries. Those changes then opened the door for Zayn appearing and he made a personal decision to go after previously stating that he wouldn't compete there even if he was allowed to do so. The report adds that Zayn and Owens are the last two wrestlers in the group that weren't going apart from John Cena, who likely won't go now due to his movie career. Others who had refused are now not with the company, making attendance issues at the Saudi events a more or less obsolete.
