Backstage News On TNA Roster And Staff Being “Unanimously Positive” About New AMC Deal

As previously reported, TNA Wrestling has officially announced a deal with AMC that will begin on Thursday, January 15, 2026. This agreement will allow iMPACT to air weekly episodes on both AMC and AMC+, with additional live episodes scheduled as well.

According to Fightful Select, TNA Wrestling’s roster and staff have responded positively to the announcement of this multi-year television agreement with AMC Networks, with sources describing the atmosphere as “unanimously positive.” Many individuals referred to the reaction as “sunshine and rainbows,” highlighting a strong internal belief that AMC’s reach presents significant growth opportunities.

The report indicates that talent and crew members share a “common hope” that this move will enhance the company’s creative direction, with many anticipating improved storytelling and production as TNA adapts to its new broadcasting platform.

Under this agreement, iMPACT will air every Thursday night in a prime-time slot from 9 PM to 11 PM ET. The show will feature a mix of live broadcasts and taped shows, which is expected to provide greater visibility compared to its previous distribution on traditional cable and streaming platforms. Internally, there is a strong belief that the partnership with AMC could elevate the product by reaching a larger audience.

This transition occurs alongside an ongoing partnership between TNA and WWE’s NXT brand. NXT talent have appeared on TNA programming throughout 2024 and 2025, and sources indicate that this collaborative relationship is expected to continue smoothly.
