Backstage News on Wesley Blake & Steve Cutler's Returns on WWE TV; Update on Jaxson Ryker

-- Last night on WWE Friday Night Smackdown, Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler of the Forgotten Sons made their return to TV, aiding King Corbin in his match against Murphy. They had been off TV since the spring after the third member of the tag team - Jaxson Ryker - made controversial remarks on social media after the death of George Floyd, which then led to fans digging up even more dirt on him from the past. It got so bad that some WWE talent called Ryker out publicly for his comments. The trio were reportedly in line for a push at around the same time, but when all of this went down, the company instead decided to cancel not only their push but to remove them from TV.

-- According to a report from fightfulselect.com, Blake and Cutler never had any heat on the whatsoever stemming from the incident while Ryker still has heat on him within the company to the point where he doesn't seem to be in any plans moving forward, being left off an internal roster sheet. Company officials were previously not that high on him to begin with and after the tweets, they decided that using him on TV was not worth the controversy that was sure to follow while many were sympathetic towards Cutler and Blake as they were simply caught up in the firestorm.
