Backstage News On What Match Is Penciled In As The Main Event Of WWE Bad Blood

-- WWE's next premium live event - Bad Blood - is less than two weeks away and there has been a lot of speculation on what match will main event and close out the show, with the two candidates of course being CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell match or Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns taking on The Bloodline.

-- Over the weekend, the USA Network ran an article suggesting that Punk vs. McIntyre's Hell in a Cell match would be the main event of Bad Blood and this would normally be a natural conclusion given how much attention and emphasis their feud has gotten, its longevity all through the year, as well as the Hell in a Cell stipulation.

-- However, fightfulselect.com reports that after Rhodes and Reigns filmed their cinematic vignette at Georgia Tech last week, the internal working plan is to have the tag team match close out the PLE. Both Rhodes and Reigns have ties to the area and WWE is bringing in a school band to play for Cody's entrance. All of that has contributed to WWE officials making the decision - as of now - to have the tag match end the show though with two weeks still remaining, there is always the chance that they could still pivot towards Punk/McIntyre.
