Since 2014, WWE has been holding events in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and after holding several non-televised house shows and sports events, the promotion would announce a 10-year strategic partnership with the Ministry of Sport in 2018, which would include Premium Live Events being held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
On November 4, 2019, the promotion would then announce that they have expanded their partnership with the General Authority for Entertainment in Saudi Arabia until 2027, which means that they will hold 2 large-scale events in the country per-year and since then, WWE has held Premium Live Events either in the capital city of Riyadh or in Jeddah.
WWE's first Premium Live Event this year in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia took place this past month at the Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with their Night of Champions show and WWE historically holds their second Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia in late October/early November with their Crown Jewel show, so it is more than like that the trend will continue.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, WWE is planning to hold their next Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, November 4th, but there is no confirmation yet on what that show will be called, though WWE will likely tape the November 3rd episode of Friday Night SmackDown the week prior during the October 27th episode of the show due to wrestlers having to travel to Saudi Arabia several days prior, something the WWE has done in the past.
