This year's WWE Royal Rumble headed outside of the United States for the first time, taking place in Saudi Arabia. With WWE's increased focus on international destinations, a fair question to ask is whether next year's show would take place at another foreign destination.
If reports are to be believed, the Rumble will instead be headed back home to the U.S.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that the backstage belief within WWE is that the Royal Rumble going to be held in an American city inside a stadium in 2027. The report added that as of now, it is presumed the show will remain a one-night event unlike WWE's recent expansion of both WrestleMania and SummerSlam into two-night events. For what it's worth, there has been discussions of holding the Rumble over multiple nights but it sounds like it won't happen for at least another year, if at all.
