In a recent edition of Fightful Select Answers, Sean Ross Sapp discussed the behind-the-scenes aspects of the tryouts after a fan inquired about who is responsible for scouting and recruiting talent for the invitations. According to Sapp, Gabe Sapolsky is primarily in charge of scouting and managing talent. Many participants receive guidance on how to prepare for the tryouts and what areas they need to improve. Additionally, trainers from various schools and promotions often recommend certain talents for tryouts.
A fan also asked whether there are plans for a tryout in East Asia. Sapp responded that there hasn't been any information about such an event. If a tryout were to take place, it would likely coincide with tours in that region; however, no expansions have been announced at this time.
