Recently, it was reported that the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, "The OTC" Roman Reigns, will not be appearing on the episodes of WWE RAW scheduled for June 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd. Reigns has been a regular participant on RAW in recent weeks after winning the World Heavyweight Title from CM Punk at WrestleMania 42, Night Two.
According to F4WOnline.com, sources indicate that Reigns has been removed from these episodes because he is not scheduled to compete at WWE Night of Champions. As a result, there is no reason for him to appear on the TV episodes leading up to the event. The specific reason for his absence from Night of Champions, which is set to take place on June 27th at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, has not yet been disclosed.
Following his victory at WrestleMania 42, Reigns mentioned that he would be a full-time performer throughout the summer. He is scheduled to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu at WWE Backlash, which will air live on ESPN Unlimited in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally. Additionally, WWE Clash in Italy is set to occur on May 31st, following Backlash and leading up to Night of Champions.
