WWE has announced 13 matches for WrestleMania 42 later this month, delaying announcing the final match which would bring the total to seven matches on each of the two nights. The match left to be made official is reportedly IYO SKY vs. Asuka and apparently there's a good reason why WWE has been holding off on it.
Bryan Alvarez noted on the latest Wrestling Observer Live that the health of Nikki Bella is the reason WWE is pausing on making SKY-Asuka official as they are taking a wait-and-see approach to see if Bella will be medically cleared to compete at WrestleMania alongside her sister Brie in the four-way Women's tag team match.
Alvarez reported that if Nikki is unable to go, WWE will replace the Bellas with Asuka and Kairi Sane but if she is cleared in time, WWE will immediately announce SKY vs. Asuka. In the former situation, it's unclear what would be SKY's status for WrestleMania if Asuka is booked in the tag match and it's also not clear why WWE wouldn't simply reduce the fatal four-way into a triple threat tag team match instead, simply removing the Bellas out of the equation.
In case you missed, Nikki has recently been seen in a walking boot after suffering an ankle injury a couple of weeks ago. At the time, she noted that she would be ready to roll in about a week's time but she obviously hasn't been cleared for action just yet.
