Backstage News On Women's Division Being Frustrated With Their WWE Booking

There is some apparent frustration regarding WWE's booking of the women's division.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful revealed that several WWE women have expressed concerns about their roles, with one even asking about their heel or babyface status. Sean said on the latest episode of The Hump that some WrestleMania pitches by the women have been rejected due to token tag matches. Women in WWE want their division to be treated more equally, with higher contracts and more meaningful storylines, as viewership rises when women are featured prominently. Notably, talents like Natalya, who was signed with creative plans in mind, have been sidelined without significant use.

Heading in WrestleMania 41 Tiffany Stratton will take on Charlotte Flair for the WWE Women's Championship. On the other hand, Rhea Ripley's WrestleMania 41 opponent will be decided in the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match next month. Recently, WWE has expanded the women's division with new titles, including the Women's United States and Intercontinental Championships.
