-- WWE's flagship event, WrestleMania, is less than three months away and with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's recent appearance and subsequent reference towards Universal Champion Roman Reigns, the main event title match is now up in the air.
-- In the last week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was noted that Reigns vs. Rock is the likely favorite to main event day two of WrestleMania in a match that has been talked for years but never having materialized. The match was strongly rumored for last year's WrestleMania in Los Angeles, but Johnson declined after feeling he didn't have enough time to get into shape to do a main event calibre match, opening up an opportunity for Cody Rhodes.
-- The report added that everyone is "tight-lipped", however, the general consensus is that Johnson would not have made the "head of the table" comment nor would WWE have followed up on it on Smackdown if there was no plans for the match to take place. With WrestleMania being the likely event for it to happen, there is also a chance WWE could instead hold it in Perth, Australia at Elimination Chamber or possibly even the next show in Saudi Arabia, the latter possible if the Saudi government possibly ponying up a significant bonus to make it happen. With Rhodes previously earmarked for a match against Reigns, it's also possible that WWE books that match and then Reigns vs. Rock on different nights of WrestleMania.
