— Some of the moves WWE made with the draft on Smackdown last week and Raw this week was meant to keep real life couples together:
- ** Charlotte Flair and Andrade were kept together on Raw and because WWE has no plans to separate Andrade with Zelina Vega, both of them got drafted to the red brand. Vega is married to Aleister Black, which then worked out as Black - a Heyman favourite - was going to be on Raw.
** Carmella and R-Truth were split up due to the fact that Carmella is dating Corey Graves, who is a Smackdown announcer. In order to keep them together and also to keep the 24/7 title on Raw (as this was a USA Network idea), it meant having to break up the Carmella/Truth duo.
** Rusev and Lana are on Raw together due to Lana’s ongoing storyline with Bobby Lashley.

- ** Humberto Carillo is now off of 205/NXT and according to the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE will likely try to groom him into the next great Spanish wrestler as there are some that think that Rey Mysterio is getting too old for that role.
** Buddy Murphy is on Raw as Paul Heyman is “super, super high on him”, as per Wrestling Observer Radio.
** Cain Velasquez wasn’t drafted to either brand, but he’s feuding with Brock Lesnar on Smackdown, whereas his “mouthpiece” Rey Mysterio was drafted to Raw. It was speculated on Observer Radio that perhaps after his match against Brock, Velasquez would move over to Raw to be with Mysterio.
