WWE NXT star EK Prosper, formerly known as Eli Knight, participated in the recent Stand & Deliver Premium Live Event (PLE) this past Saturday. He competed in a 10-person mixed tag team match during the Countdown pre-show and emerged victorious.
According to Bodyslam+, NXT plans to build around Prosper following the recent promotions of Trick Williams, Oba Femi, and Je’Von Evans to the main roster. The report indicated that WWE officials hold Prosper in high regard, with one source stating that he is expected to be prominently featured in upcoming storylines.
Prosper was announced as one of the company’s new ID prospects back in October of last year. He has previously competed in EVOLVE and officially signed an NXT deal in January, making his debut on the brand. Since joining NXT, Prosper has been in contention for the WWE Speed Championship. He and Sean Legacy teamed up to defeat Jasper Troy on the March 10 episode of WWE NXT.
